Nominations Sought For Wildlands Conservancy’s Friend Of The Lehigh River Awards
Nominations are currently being sought for Wildlands Conservancy’s Friend of the Lehigh River Awards given annually by the organization in acknowledgment of individuals, groups, organizations, businesses, institutions, or governmental bodies who deserve to be recognized for their commitment to preserving, protecting, restoring, and enhancing the Lehigh River and its watershed.
 
The deadline for nominations is May 1.
 
Nominations can be submitted by a one-page summary of the nominee’s accomplishments and justification for receiving the award. Contact information of the nominee and the group or individual making the nomination should be included.
 
This year’s award winners will be announced during the closing ceremonies of Wildlands Conservancy’s Lehigh River Sojourn event (July 1) at Hugh Moore Park, Easton.
 
Last year’s Friend of the Lehigh River Award winners were: Stephen Baier, Peter W. Nestor, Larry Rafes, and the County of Lehigh.
