Urban Sustainability Forum In Philadelphia October 22
The Economy League of Greater Philadelphia and the PA Environmental Council are sponsoring an Urban Sustainability Forum focusing on Green Infrastructure Funding on October 22 at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia’s ambitious agenda to become the “Greenest City in America” will require innovative and reliable funding methods. Having surveyed the nation, the Pennsylvania Environmental Council and Economy League of Greater Philadelphia present several models for creatively funding green infrastructure from places as far away as St. Louis, Missouri and as close as our own back yard.

Hear about how these models can be implemented and expanded in Philadelphia at this Forum.

Speakers for the event include:
-- Moderator: Patrick Starr, Senior Vice President, Pennsylvania Environmental Council
-- Peter Sortino, President, Danforth Foundation, St. Louis
-- Howard Neukrug, PE, Director, Office of Watersheds, Philadelphia Water Department
-- Steve Wray, Executive Director, Economy League of Greater Philadelphia
