PA Parks & Forests Foundation Honors 2010 Award Winners May 4

The PA Parks & Forests Foundation will honor the winners of their 2010 awards at a special dinner on May 4 in Harrisburg.
This year's awards recognize the outstanding service and exemplary work done by these winners--
-- Cliff Jones Keystone Legacy Award: William C. Forrey, Retired Director, Bureau of State Parks, Department of Environmental Resources;
-- Joseph Ibberson Government Award: State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan Team (SCORP), DCNR;
-- President's Award: Recreation Equipment, Inc. (REI);
-- Park of the Year: Nockamixon State Park;
-- Forest of the Year: Michaux State Forest;
-- Friends Group Volunteerism Award: Friends of Prince Gallitzin State Park;
-- Friends Group Education Award: Friends of Goddard State Park; and
-- Friends Group Improvement Award: Friends of Ridley Creek State Park.
