PA Universities Take Top 3 Spots In EPA Green Power Competition

The University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University and Carnegie Mellon University took the top three spots in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 2009/10 Green Power Champions Competition.     
            EPA also recognized Dickinson University (#11), Duquesne University (#22) and Drexel University (#24) out of the 26 winners.
            Since April 2006, EPA’s Green Power Partnership has tracked and recognized the collegiate athletic conferences with the highest combined green power purchases in the nation. The Individual Conference Champion Award recognizes the school that has made the largest individual purchase of green power within a qualifying conference.
