Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy Honors Environmental Leaders At October 21 Dinner

 

On October 21 the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy will hold its Annual Environmental Awards Banquet honoring individuals and organizations that have committed their time and energy to protecting the land and water resources of the Perkiomen Watershed.
            This year's winners include: 
-- Municipal Award – West Rockhill Township
-- Land-Use Award – New Goshenhoppen Church of Christ
-- Corporate – Waste Management, Inc.
-- Protector of the Watershed – Frank and Edith Weisbecker
-- Friend of the Watershed – Manjula Ibrahim
-- Friend of the Watershed – Telford Diving Unit
-- Kids Making a Difference – Worcester Elementary Environmental Club
-- Teaching Excellence – Eugene J. Halus, Ph.D.
             Dinner Details
            The Conservancy invites you to join them as they celebrate the honorees and their hard work by supporting their Annual Awards Banquet which will be held at the Indian Valley Country Club in Telford, Pa.   This year's theme is: Fabulous Fauna of the Watershed.  
            There are many ways to participate – place an ad in our Program Booklet, donate a quality item to our Silent Auction, be a banquet sponsor or join us for the celebration. 
            The Silent Auction is one of the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy’s major fund-raising events.  Proceeds from the auction directly support their mission.
