Environmental Heritage- DCNR At 15: Looking Back

With a new agency came a new newsletter. About a year after the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources was born, a bi-weekly (then monthly, then bi-weekly again) newsletter was distributed to keep those interested in the agency plugged in to what was going on. John C. Oliver—the agency's first secretary—penned an introductory message to lay out the scope of resource. The newsletter has continued—even after going from a paper, mailed copy to an electronic newsletter at the beginning of 2005. Who knows what the next 15 years hold in store?
