June 13 Environmental Issues Forum On Electric Vehicle Charging Station Network

 

The Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee’s June 18 Environmental Issues Forum will feature a presentation on a Pennsylvania-based initiative to establish a network of public charging stations for electric vehicles.
            The forum will be held at 12:00 noon in Room G-50 of the K. Leroy Irvis Building. 
            The guest presenters will be principals of the Pennsylvania corporation U-Go Stations, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. U-Go stations is involved in the development of an electric vehicle public charging station infrastructure, so that as electric vehicles increase in number, vehicle owners will be able to plug-in and charge their vehicles at prime, public locations.
             Rep. Scott Hutchinson (R-Venango) serves as Chair of the Committee.
