Volunteers Needed To Remove Invasive Species At Presque Isle

Presque Isle Audubon and Audubon Pennsylvania need volunteers to help remove invasive bittersweet and honeysuckle shrubs in areas of Presque Isle State Park in Erie County where bird banding takes places.
            The invasive plant removal will be done June 11 near Niagara Boat Launch and July 16 at Fry's Landing from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, organizers said. Thirty volunteers are needed each day.
