PACD Sets Erosion & Sedimentation Manual Training

The PA Association of Conservation Districts, Inc. is offering three Erosion & Sediment training sessions throughout the months of August and September.

The two-day extensive workshops will afford attendees the opportunity to pose questions about the current E&S manual as well as further their understanding of the regulations and aid them as they continue projects in their home communities.

The training cost is $300 per person and covers all materials, including the E&S manual and meals. Additionally, all attendees, who complete both days of the training, will receive a certificate of completion, noting the receipt of 14 Professional Development Hours. It will be up to the participants to ensure those hours are accepted by their individual accrediting bodies.

The training dates and locations are as follows: August 20 & 21- Northampton County; August 30 & 31— Cumberland County; and September 24 & 25- Butler County

If anyone needs hotel accommodations for any of the sessions, please contact the hotel directly (at the number listed with the hotel information above) and note you are attending this training for the discounted room rate.

A fourth training will take place later in the fall in Lycoming County.

Each training session will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first day and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the second day. Trainers for all sessions are being provided by the Department of Environmental Protection.
