PRC: Recycle At Pet Expo Pittsburgh Nov. 2-4

Animal lovers can drop off clean, empty aluminum pet food cans at “Pet Expo Pittsburgh” November 2 – 4 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center – and one lucky recycler will win free pet food for a year!  Look for the “Cans for Pets” booth

The PA Resources Council – through the generous support of the Alcoa Foundation – is launching “Cans for Pets,” an effort to increase the total number of aluminum pet food cans recycled each year.

PRC will donate 5 cents per can collected to the Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center. PRC is also establishing several permanent drop-off locations throughout Western Pennsylvania.

Cans for Pets is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Alcoa Foundation in partnership with PRC, Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center, Petco and the City of Pittsburgh.
