PA Sea Grant Hosts 2 Aquatic Invasive Species Workshops In June

The Pennsylvania Sea Grant Program is hosting two aquatic invasive species identification workshops designed to help field biologists and agency field staff use the new Pennsylvania Field Guide to Aquatic Invasive Species to quickly and accurately identify new AIS infestations.

The workshops will be held on June 12 in Erie for Fish, invertebrates and reptiles and June 19 in State College for plants, pathogens and algae.

Each hands-on workshop will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will include lunch, refreshments, and a free copy of the field guide. There is no cost to attend either of the workshops, but online registration is required by June  and space is limited.
