Chesapeake Bay Foundation Announces Save The Bay Photo Contest Winners

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation Monday announced the winners of the 2013 Save The Bay Photo Contest, one each from Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.

Jerry Hughes was the First Place Winner for his stunning shot of an osprey capturing a fish in its talons in Newport News, Virginia.  His photo was judged both best photo by our CBF panel and Viewers' Choice photo by supporters. Jerry will receive cash awards totalling $600.

Second Place went to Kevin Moore for Autumn Reflection, a photo taken on the top of Adams Falls, Rickett's Glen, Pa. at sunset (photo).

Third Place went to Chris Tanner for Blind Bird. The photo of a great blue heron perched on a decaying bird blind was shot on the upper St. Mary's River.
