DEP Announces June 28 Natural Gas Vehicle Workshop In Blair County

The Department of Environmental Protection, along with its partners at Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities and Peoples Natural Gas Company, will hold a free workshop on June 28, for private and municipal fleet owners and operators, automotive technicians and refueling station developers. 

The workshop will be held at the Altoona Curve Baseball Stadium in Blair County.

Attendees of the half-day workshop will learn the benefits of natural gas vehicles and petroleum reduction technology, and how to apply for available DEP Alternative Fuel Incentive Grants and Act 13 Natural Gas Vehicle Grants.  Attendees will be able to view natural gas vehicles following the workshop, and tour the Altoona Curve ballpark.
