Nominations Due For Heenan PA Recycling Markets Development Award

The Pennsylvania Recycling Markets Center, Inc., is pleased to announce the 2013 William M. Heenan, Jr., Pennsylvania Recycling Markets Development Award application period is open.  Nominations are due September 25.

This unique award recognizes stellar recycling achievement and business growth impact in Pennsylvania Recycling Markets Development.  New for this year is an expanded list of eligibility criteria, allowing broader participation by those organizations contributing to end-use of Pennsylvania’s recycled materials.

The award recognizes a national recycling markets development pioneer, Bill Heenan, retired President of the Steel Recycling Institute (SRI) and founding Board Director of the RMC.

The honored award recipient will be recognized at an award event to be held on October 17, 2013 at The State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg.  The Award includes opportunity for national public relations exposure, sponsored by the marketing and communications firm PPO&S. 

This includes recognition in media announcement(s), including distribution to over 20 national and state recycling and waste publications; invitation and interview by regional, state, and national press or media at award the event; and creation with distribution of a media/promotion kit to support award achievement coverage.
