SRBC Meets Dec. 5 On Water Withdrawal Requests, Other Issues

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission will hold its regular business meeting December 5 to consider water withdrawal requests and the status of federal funding for the Susquehanna Flood Forecast and Warning System. (formal notice)

Also on the agenda is: informational presentation of interest to the Lower Susquehanna Subbasin area;  a rulemaking action to clarify the water uses involved in hydrocarbon development that are subject to the consumptive use regulations, as implemented by the Approval By Rule program; resolution concerning delegation of authority; ratification/approval of contracts/grants; regulatory compliance matters for Lion Brewery, LHP Management, and Southwestern Energy Company; transfer of approval (Doc. No. 20081222) from Sunbury Generation, LP to Hummel Station, LLC; and regulatory Program projects.

The meeting will be held at the Lowe House Office Building, House of Delegates, Appropriation Hearing Room #120, 6 Bladen St., Annapolis, MD starting at 9:00.
