PRC, ECOvanta, Partners Collect Almost 250,000 Pounds Of E-Waste In 2014

During 2014, the PA Resources Council and its partners collected and recycled nearly 250,000 pounds of electronic waste in eastern Pennsylvania.

PRC could not have done it without its partners including: ECOvanta, the e-waste processor, David York, Certified Freon Extractor, the Delaware County Community Service workers, all of our venue hosts, and every one of our participants.

In 2015 we can expect more changes in the electronic waste recycling industry as consumers become more educated to the importance of this recycling, especially since the Covered Devices Act of 2010 which mandates the recycling of specific electronic products.

Moving all electronic waste, from the landfill to the recycler has tremendous impact on our environment and we are proud of the role we play in making it easy and convenient to recycle.

Thanks to all the people out there that willingly brought their products to PRC's events!
