Fill Out DEP Survey On Abandoned Mine Reclamation Program

The Department of Environmental Protection is giving the abandoned mine reclamation community an opportunity to provide feedback on your interactions with the department regarding abandoned mine issues since DEP's reorganization in 2011.

Since the reorganization, the DEP's abandoned mine program has been divided into two bureaus; the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation handles all abandoned mine land issues while the Bureau of Conservation and Restoration handles all abandoned mine drainage issues.

Although these two bureaus have different focuses, they remain linked. DEP believes that valuable data collected through this survey will help improve the effectiveness of the reorganization.

Click Here to download a survey. Completed surveys are due by June 30 and should be returned to: tammyoung@pa.gov.
