Community livability depends on the service and health of its forest canopy. Urban forest components lead to efficiency in managing surface storm flows, but can also bring a healthful source of seasonal foods to neighborhoods investing.

This two-day conference presents ways to manage tree resilience amid the stresses urban conditions entail. Thursday will offer a full day of lectures. Friday, the conference offers a day tour of green infrastructure's role in creating the Erie regional destination.
