Penn State Extension Offers Tree Tenders Training April 15 In Scranton

Penn State Extension and DCNR’s Bureau of Forestry are offering Tree Tenders training designed to increase tree canopy cover in communities.

The training will be held in Scranton on April 15 at the Anthracite Heritage Museum from 8:30 to 4:15.

Tree Tender training is also offered in Southeast PA by the PA Horticultural Society and in Western PA by Tree Pittsburgh.

DCNR’s TreeVitalize Program coordinates Tree Tender training across the state.
