PA Environmental Council To Hold 6 Regional Watershed Workshops Across State

The PA Environmental Council is hosting a series of 6 Regional Watershed Workshops across the state where watershed groups can share resource information, learn techniques to help build members and network with other groups in the region.

One workshop will be held in each of DEP Regions at these locations--

-- March 8: Westmoreland Conservation District, J. Roy Houston Conservation Center, Greensburg.  9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Click Here to register.

-- March 9: Franklin Industrial and Commercial Development Authority, 191 Howard St., Suite 100, Franklin. 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Click Here to register.

-- March 31: Trails and Trees Environmental Center, 1731 York St., Mechanicsburg. 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Click Here to register.

-- April 6: Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority, 213 South 7th Ave., Scranton. 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Click Here to register.

-- April 14: Upper Merion Township Building, 175 West Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia. 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Click Here to register.

Invited guests include staff from the departments of Environmental Protection and  Conservation and Natural Resources, County Conservation District Watershed Specialists and national, state, regional, and local environmental organizations with watershed-focused programs and resources.

Please feel free to bring photos, maps or other printed materials about your watershed organization to share with others.
