Reminder: Entries For Great American Cleanup Of PA Video Contest Due June 3

Just a reminder, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful is accepting entries until June 3 for the Great American Cleanup of PA Video Contest open to all registered participants.

Keep PA Beautiful is seeking creative, original videos of people making their communities clean and beautiful.

To participate, send Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful a 2-minute video of your Great American Cleanup of PA event showcasing your community improvement program. Be sure to mention the Great American Cleanup of PA in your video.

“The GACofPA Video Contest allows us to showcase the hard work and enthusiasm of the grassroots effort which is truly the strength of the Great American Cleanup of PA,” explains Shannon Reiter, President of Keep PA Beautiful, “by collecting and sharing these videos we can go beyond just capturing the data, we are able to bring these stories to life.”

The Department of Environmental Protection sponsors the video contest with cash prizes offered by the Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association. The winning entry receives $200 and two runners up each receive $100.

Voting Starts June 13

Help choose the winners by liking your favorite video on the Keep PA Beautiful Facebook page. Voting begins on June 13 and concludes on June 23 at 3:00 p.m.  Winners will be announced June 24.
