UGI Natural Gas Utilities Request Increase In Distribution System Improvement Charges

The Public Utility Commission published notice in the April 30 PA Bulletin of requests by UGI Central Penn Gas, UGI Penn Natural Gas and UGI Utilities to increase the Distribution System Improvement Charge cap from 5 percent to 10 percent.

The DISC charge provides additional funding so utilities can upgrade their gas, electric, water or wastewater distribution systems regulated by the PUC.
