The Pennsylvania Biological Survey, through the Pennsylvania Goshawk Project, is working to determine the status of Northern Goshawks in Pennsylvania.

PABS and DCNR ask for your help in determining the distribution and abundance of nesting Northern Goshawks in Pennsylvania. PABS offers resources to help you identify a goshawk or a goshawk nest, including a recording of a goshawk call.

If you think that you have seen or heard one of these birds, please email reports of your experience.

For more information about the purpose of this effort, and for additional contacts, see this PABS document.

PABS and DCNR thank you for your help in improving understanding of this rare and beautiful Pennsylvania bird.
