Recyclebank, the incentive-based community recycling program, is now accepting applications for its Green Schools Program to provide funding for local green projects in schools in areas served by Recyclebank.

Elementary and secondary schools in Recyclebank communities can submit proposals with a budget of up to $2,500 by the November 17 deadline.

Students and teachers are then encouraged to ask family and friends to help fund their projects by donating their Recyclebank points.

Recyclebank will post the top proposals on its website where members can donate their points and they will aware $1 for every 250 points.

Schools will receive a check to fund their projects based on the number of points they received as donations from Recyclebank members.

To find out if your school is located in a Recyclebank community, send an email to: greenschools@recyclebank.com.

For all the details and to apply, visit Recyclebank’s Green Schools Program webpage.
