New Radiological Health And Radon Certification Fees Now In Effect

The Environmental Quality Board published notice of final Radiological Health and Radon Certification Fee increases in the October 21 PA Bulletin.

This final regulation increases permit fees for the licensing and inspection of radioactive materials, radon testing and mitigation certification, inspection of x-ray facilities and other activities.

The new fees are expected to raise an additional $2.1 million to support the Radiological Health and Radon Programs.
