PA Land Trust Assn Accepting Nominations For Govt. Leadership, Conservation Leadership Awards
This award recognizes individuals who have decades of leadership and dedication in conserving Pennsylvania’s special places and landscapes.
The deadline for nominations is January 15.
This award recognizes any Pennsylvania municipal or county government that has demonstrated leadership and vision that resulted or will result in the permanent conservation of open space and valuable and unique land and/or water resources.
Success in natural resource conservation can be achieved through land use planning and regulations, resource protection strategies, and land and/or easement acquisition.
Recognition may be based on the work of a government, multi-government partnership, commission or board but must be sanctioned by the governing body or bodies.
The deadline for nominations is February 12.
The Awards will be presented in conjunction with the 2018 Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference April 12-14 in Malvern, Chester County.
