3 Rivers Wet Weather and its partners are hosting a Stream Restoration Workshop June 22 at McFadden Hall, 1520 Butler Plank Road, Glenshaw, Shaler Township, Allegheny County from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Attendees will learn about Current stream restoration design practices, Stream stabilization vs. stream restoration, Post-construction monitoring, Design and construction details and standards, Identifying potential stream restoration project sites, Construction cost/estimating consideration, Case studies including pros and cons of each approach, Natural channel design, Challenges of construction in environmentally sensitive stream environments.
