DEP Issues Modified Permits For Mariner East 2 Pipeline In Chester County; PUC Lifts Construction Ban At 2 Locations

The Department of Environmental Protection published formal notice in the August 25 PA Bulletin that it has issued modified Chapter 102 and 105 permits for the Mariner East 2 Pipeline in Chester County.  (PA Bulletin, page 5415).

With confirmation of this action, the Public Utility Commission Friday authorized Mariner East 2 Pipeline to resume construction at the two locations in this DEP notice-- North Pottstown Pike and Swedesford Road in West Whiteland Township, Chester County.

The PUC has not given its approval to resume construction in two other locations in West Whiteland Township.
