Buchanan Forest District Resource Center Awarded LEED Silver Certification

The U.S. Green Building Council of Central Pennsylvania recently awarded the Buchanan Forest District Resource Management Center in McConnellsburg, Fulton County with LEED Silver certification.

The building includes enhanced daylighting, automatic energy control systems, native plants, and sustainable stormwater management features.

The center also has been awarded the USGBC Central PA Forever Green Award for “improving the acceptance of green” for 2018.
