The PA Environmental Council is now accepting applications for Laurel Highlands Conservation Landscape Mini-Grants to support projects in Somerset, Fayette, Cambria, and Westmoreland counties.  The deadline for applications is February 21.

Local governments, registered Pennsylvania nonprofits, county conservation districts, and learning institutions are encouraged to apply.

A total of $50,000 in grant funding is available. All mini-grants require a one-to-one match -- the mini-grant cannot exceed 50 percent of the total project costs.

Funding for these grants is provided by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
