Penn State Extension Sets 4 More Public Meetings On Spotted Lanternfly

Penn State Extension Service will host 4  additional public meetings on the spotted lanternfly, the invasive insect that has spread throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and surrounding states and presents a significant threat to Pennsylvania agriculture, including the grape, tree-fruit, hardwood and nursery industries.

The public can do a great deal to stop the spread of this invasive insect.  Attend one of these meetings near you to learn more--

-- Chester County: June 13 - Exton

-- Columbia County: July 16 - Berwick;* August 15 - Bloomsburg* [Not in quarantine area]

-- Fayette County: May 17 - Uniontown* [Not in quarantine area]

-- Lancaster County: April 30- Limerock

-- Montour County: June 8 - Danville*  [Not in quarantine area]

-- Pike County: April 26 - Lords Valley [Not in quarantine area]
