DEP Hearing August 12 On Air Quality Plan Approval For Slate Belt Biosolids Heat Recovery Center, Northampton County

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the June 29 PA Bulletin it will hold a hearing on August 12 on the draft Air Quality Plan Approval for the Slate Belt Biosolids Heat Recovery Center to be located at the Grand Central Sanitary Landfill in Plainfield Township, Northampton County. (PA Bulletin page 3348)

The hearing will be held at the Wind Gap Middle School, 1620 Teels Road in Pen Argyle from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The Department requests that individuals wishing to testify at the hearing submit a written notice of their intent. The notice should be sent to Mark Wejkszner, P.E, Air Quality Program Manager, Department of Environmental Protection, Air Quality Program, Wilkes-Barre Regional Office, 2 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701-1915.
