The Wildlife Leadership Academy will host a special screening of the award-winning documentary Live The Stream: The Story Of Joe Humphreys on August 12 at the Tull Family Theater, 418 Walnut Street in Sewickley, Westmoreland County at 6:00 p.m.

The Academy is excited to partner with the filmmakers, Lucas and Meigan Bell, and celebrate Wildlife Leadership Academy students’ engagement with Joe in the movie – and in turn celebrate what it means for all of us to engage and empower the next generation of conservation leaders.

Trout streams are fountains of youth for 86-year-old Joe Humphreys: a man who was born to fly fish, lives to teach, and strives to pass on a respect for our local waters.

Far more than a fly fishing film, this character story about the one-of-a-kind Joe Humphreys is an emotional and powerful narrative about aging, family, friendships, and the power of positive influence, told by a man who has followed his calling for an entire lifetime.

A portion of the proceeds from this showing will go to Wildlife Leadership Academy, a nonprofit whose mission is to engage and empower high school age youth to become Conservation Ambassadors to ensure a sustained wildlife, fisheries and natural resource legacy for future generations.
