Pennsylvania Envirothon Team Heads To International Competition In North Carolina; Send Them A Good Luck Email!

Pennsylvania's Envirothon winner-- the Carmichaels Area High School Team from Greene County-- is headed to the 2019 NCF Envirothon held at North Carolina State University. 

The team is one of 53 high school teams from the United States, Canada, and China competing for the top Envirothon title. The competition kicks off July 28 and ends August 2.

The team has committed countless hours to preparing for this competition.  They have taken numerous field trips, studied with university professors, and practiced, practiced, practiced.

The team is ready to once again make Pennsylvania proud!  Go get ‘em!

At the state level, the Envirothon is sponsored by Pennsylvania’s sixty-six county conservation districts, the State Conservation Commission, and the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts.

The program is managed by a board of directors representing those sponsors.  Technical expertise is provided by the following partners:  Department of Agriculture, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Game Commission, Fish and Boat Commission, and U.S.D.A. Natural Resources Conservation Service.
