10,000 Friends Of Pennsylvania Accepting Nominations For 2019 Commonwealth Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 Commonwealth Awards by 10,000 Friends Of Pennsylvania.  The deadline for nominations is September 20.

The Commonwealth Awards celebrates visionary community leadership and catalytic development projects and initiatives that find new uses for vacant and underutilized land, increase opportunities for communities on the rise, and breathe new life into old neighborhoods.

It is the only statewide Smart Growth awards program in Pennsylvania and reflects 10,000 Friends’ commitment to improving the quality of life for all Pennsylvanians.

Through the Commonwealth Awards, 10,000 Friends  recognize development projects that utilize best practices creating great walkable, sustainable, equitable, and healthy communities.
