Susquehanna River Basin Commission To Consider Mariner East 2 Pipeline Violations Settlement Agreement Sept. 6

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission is scheduled to hold its next business meeting on September 6 in Big Flats, New York. One of the items on the agenda is approval of a proposed settlement agreement with Sunoco over Mariner East 2 Pipeline SRBC water regulation violations. (formal notice)

The business meeting will include actions or presentations on the following items:

-- Informational presentation of interest to the upper Susquehanna River region;

-- Proposed rulemaking on consumptive use regulation;

-- Ratification/approval of contracts/grants;

-- A report on delegated settlements; and

-- Actions on water withdrawal requests.

The meeting will be held at the Big Flats Community Center, 476 Maple Street in Big Flats, New York starting at 9:00 a.m.

PA Bulletin Notices

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission published notices in the August 17 PA Bulletin of water withdrawal registrations made under the grandfathered projects program; water withdrawal requests approved in May; and water withdrawal requests rescinded through June.
