The Penn State Master Watershed Stewards in Lehigh and Northampton counties will host two upcoming TapTalks--  September 5 on the History of Water Quality In The Lehigh Valley and on October 3 on The Power Of Water.

Water Quality History

The topics to be covered in this presentation will be: Drinking Water; Environmental Initiatives; Global Issues; History; Microplastics; Municipal Water Resources; Pond Management; Rain Barrels & Gardens; Riparian Buffers; Stormwater Management; Water Treatment; Well Water.

Penn State Drinking Water and Pond Water Test Kits will be made available for participants.

The presenter will be Brad Kunsman, Penn State Extension Educator for the Master Gardener, Master Watershed Steward Program.

The program will be held at Birthright Brewing Company, 57 S. Main Street, Nazareth from 6:30 to 7:30.
