The Department of Environmental Protection invited counties who received West Virus Grants in 2019 to apply for the 2020 grant round. Applications will be accepted beginning October 15 and the deadline for applying is November 15.  (formal notice)

Applicants must meet certain eligibility requirements (for example, the applicant must be a county authority—health department, conservation district, emergency management, county planning or another county agency).

The grantees will perform mosquito integrated pest management activities within the borders of the designated county or counties, or both, as noted in the WNV Grant Application Instruction Guide.

Applications must be submitted through the Department of Community and Economic Development's Electronic Single Application website, eGrants.

Information about the grants will be published on DEP’s Vector Management webpage. Questions should be directed to Matt Helwig by calling 717-346-8243 or sending email to: mhelwig@pa.gov.

Visit DEP’s West Nile Virus Control Program website to learn more about this program.
