DEP’s Energy Programs Office, in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council and Green Business Certification, Inc., will hold a workshop on December 3 in Harrisburg on the Performance Excellence in Electricity rating program for green buildings.

Modeled after the LEED rating system for Green Buildings and run by GBCI and USGBC, PEER is a new tool to measure and improve power system performance in cities, commercial and industrial complexes, and developed campuses such as military installations.

With DEP's support, up to five entities in Pennsylvania will receive a free technical assessment of their power system and possible PEER certification.

Join the Office of Energy Programs, U.S. Green Building Council  and GBCI for an all-day workshop focused on how Pennsylvania can leverage PEER to facilitate the construction of 21st century energy infrastructure that improves our security, resiliency, and creates economic opportunities.

This free workshop will be held at the PA Emergency Management Agency, 1310 Elmerton Avenue in Harrisburg from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
