U.S.D.A. Rural Energy For America Program Now Accepting Funding Applications

The U.S.D.A. Rural Energy For America Program is now accepting applications for grants and loans to help rural municipalities, businesses and agricultural producers fund renewable energy systems, energy efficiency improvements, energy audits and site assessments.

The deadlines for grant/loan offerings are--

-- January 31: Renewable Energy, Energy Audits;

-- March 31: Grants or loan/grants of $20,000 or less; and

-- March 31: Unrestricted grant or loan/grant combination.
