DEP Northcentral Region Hosts DEP Connects With Agriculture Program Feb. 24 In Williamsport

The DEP Northcentral Regional Office will host a DEP Connects With Agriculture Program  on February 24 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in Williamsport.  Participants will have the opportunity to--

-- Meet Regional Director Marcus Kohl and DEP program staff

-- Hear updates on permitting and farm inspections, Chesapeake Bay, Marcellus Shale, West Nile Virus, and other topics of interest

-- Get the facts about DEP requirements before working in or adjacent to streams

-- Ask questions about issues affecting your farm operation

-- Bacteria test kits for your well water available for $10 purchase (quantities limited)

-- Representatives from the Lycoming County Conservation District and Lycoming County Farm Bureau will also be in attendance.
