CleanScapes will celebrate 20 years of service to Clinton and Lycoming counties on March 28 with the Bald Eagle Valley Trail Fest - 5K Walk/Run - Carrot Cake/Cupcake Baking Competition at the Castanea Fire Company, 111 McElhattan Avenue in Castanea, Clinton County.

This event will help raise funds for the 2020 cleanup program and butterfly garden development along the Bald Eagle Valley Trail and also features a trailside native plant seed dispersal for butterflies.

Other activities include an open house by the Clinton Central Model Railroad Club and food catered by 4C’s -- Clinton County Community Connections.

Trail Fest 2020 funding provided by the Clinton County Community Foundation, Brenda & Don Lysle and the Clinton County Tourism/Recreation Fund; a Clinton County Commissioners’ grant program in partnership with the Clinton County Tourism Promotion Agency.

CleanScapes 4,680 volunteers removed over 1,220 tons of trash & collected over 13,400 tires from our PA Wilds service areas of Clinton and Lycoming Counties.

If the March 28 Trail Fest event registrations surpass 200 participants, we will offer this event year after year.   Our goal is to continually increase the length of this event until we reach the Pine Creek Trail in Lycoming County & possibly beyond!
