South Mountain Partnership Starts Accepting Recreation, Conservation Mini Grant Applications April 1

The South Mountain Partnership will begin accepting applications for the 2020 Recreation and Conservation Mini Grants on April 1.  The deadline for applications is May 29.

The grants are designed to support that sustain the South Mountain Landscape’s natural, recreational and cultural resources in all or parts of Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, and York counties.

Project proposals addressing water resources will be given priority, as well as projects that assist municipalities and/or counties to implement conservation and preservation elements of their comprehensive plans.

Funding for this program comes from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Environmental Stewardship [Growing Greener] Fund.

The Mini Grant program is administered by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
