DeVal Outdoors is a new online journalism project created by Kyle Bagenstose, an investigative reporter for The USA TODAY Network where he covers the Northeast and specializes in environmental reporting.

Formerly an environmental and investigative reporter for the Bucks County Courier Times and Intelligencer and the Burlington County Times, he has written on a variety of environmental topics and issues in the Delaware Valley.

Bagenstose said with DelVal Outdoors he intends to chronicle news and developments of interest to any outdoor lovers in the Philly metro: hikers, bikers, campers, backpackers, anglers, paddlers, birders, you name it.

He hopes to cover both conservation and recreation topics, as often as he can.
