On May 20, the Villanova University Urban Stormwater Partnership is hosting online presentations by graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral students that were to be presented at the now canceled Environmental and Water Resource Institute Conference.

The sessions will be organized as lightning rounds, with a question and answer period.

Here is a list of the presentations, click the title to read the abstract--

-- Richard Ampomah, “Quantifying Sediment Retention within a Bioinfiltration System.”

-- Achira Amur, “Understanding the Water Budget within a Rain Garden.”

-- Ali Ebrahimian, “Dynamic Performance of Green Infrastructure: Implications in Modeling and Design.”

-- Danielle Galloway, “Stormwater Rain Garden Performance: Investigating Under-Performing Systems and the Influence of Modeling Techniques and Design Assumptions."

-- Seyed Hossein Hosseiny, “A Citywide Scale Runoff Modeling Framework for Stormwater Management."

-- Rebecca Martin, “Methods for analyzing Stream Temperature and the Thermal Effects of Rain Gardens.”

-- Ian McKane, “Spatial and Temporal Changes in Infiltration, Soil Texture, and Nutrient Accumulation in Rain Gardens.

-- Wessam Mohammed, “Impact of Underdrain Structures on the Performance of two Established Rain Gardens in Abington, Pennsylvania.”

-- Lesmes Mora Jerez,Use of an Aggregation Degradation Model to Assess the Effects of Stormwater Control."

The presentations will be available via Zoom starting at 12:30.  Space is limited and you must register for this event.

This program is part of a monthly stormwater presentations series hosted by the Villanova Urban Stormwater Partnership and will be available on demand.
