Cumberland County 4-H, Penn State Extension Offer Virtual Camp Series For Youth

The Cumberland County 4-H and Penn State Extension are excited to offer a Virtual Summer Camp Series with “Learn By Doing” activities.

The Virtual Summer Camp is being offered June 22 - August 14, 2020 with registration being due by June 8, 2020.

These activities are for youth ages 8-18 and include Dairy Foods and Vet Science to Forestry or even Floral Design.

The activities are designed to help youth gain fun experiences while exploring interesting topics in agriculture and beyond.

The cost is $21.00 per child which unlocks unlimited access to the sessions including Bugs, Citizenship, Dairy Foods, Floral Design, Forestry, Outdoor Foods, Vet Science, and World Travel.

The campers will be mailed a “camp in the box” prior to camp starting with materials to be used during the week for some sessions.

Due to this series being offered online, youth will need to have access to the Internet, needle, thread, and cloth.

In addition, a Cloverbud Camp ages 5-7 is being held on July 6-8, 2020 from 6:30-7:00 p.m.
