DEP Accepting Comments On Texas Eastern Pipeline Conemaugh River Crossing, Compressor Station Replacement Projects

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice and opportunity to comment on a Texas Eastern Pipeline project in Indiana and Westmoreland counties and a compressor station project in Cambria County.

Pipeline Project

Texas Eastern is proposing to replace a 24-inch natural gas pipeline going under the Conemaugh River between Indiana and Westmoreland counties.

DEP published notices related to the Section 401 Water Quality certification and needed erosion and sediment permits (PA Bulletin pages 4453 to 4455).

Compressor Station

Texas Eastern is also proposing a compressor station replacement project in Cresson Township, Cambria County.

DEP published notices related to the Section 401 Water Quality Certification and needed erosion and segmental permits (PA Bulletin 4455 to 4458).
