PA Forestry Assn. Exploring Change In Penn's Woods 2020 Symposium Oct. 26-30

The PA Forestry Association will its 134th Annual Symposium in Virtual Form October 26 - 30 with the theme Exploring Change in Penn's Woods with programs scheduled over five days.

The programs will be held from Noon to 1:00 p.m. each day and include--

-- October 26: The Big Picture on Energy, Climate and Penn’s Woods-Challenges and Opportunities - Dr. Richard Alley;

-- October 27: Climate Change and Penn’s Woods - What does the Future Hold? Greg Czarnecki, DCNR;

-- October 28: Habitat Changes Affecting Ruffed Grouse, American Woodcock and

other wildlife - Challenges & Opportunities - Dr. Benjamin Jones, Ruffed Grouse Society;

-- October 29: Market opportunities for Woodland Owners - J. Geyer, Hardwoods Development Council, and Carbon Markets - Kevin Yoder, The Nature Conservancy-PA; and

-- October 30: Adaptive Management for Penn’s Woods - DCNR Secretary Cindy Adams Done and Ellen Schulzabarger, State Forester.
