PA Organization For Watersheds & Rivers Hosts Geology Of PA Streams Webinar Oct. 21

On October 21, the PA Organization for Watersheds and Rivers will host a webinar on Geology of Pennsylvania Streams starting at Noon.

Ever wonder about the difference between a freestone and a limestone stream? What is a seep and what is a spring and why do they occur? And why does PA have so many miles of streams anyway?

Then you don’t want to miss this live webinar with Simeon Suter, a geologist with the DCNR's Bureau of Geological Survey.

Click Here to register for the webinar.  POWR will send you an email with the link to this live event.  Questions should be directed to Tali MacArthur by sending email to:  tmacarthur@pecpa.org.

For more information on programs, initiatives, assistance, upcoming events and how you can get involved, visit the PA Organization for Watersheds and Rivers website.
