DCNR Awards $7.6 Million For 41 Trail Planning, Construction, Rehab Projects, Including ATV, Snowmobile Trails

On October 15, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced the investment of $7.6 million in 41 trail planning, construction and rehabilitation projects, including ATV and snowmobile trails.

The grants get closer to DCNR's goal of providing a trail within 10 minutes of every Pennsylvanian.

Funding for the projects comes from the Keystone Recreations, Parks and Conservation Fund, the Environmental Stewardship Fund, ATV and Snowmobile restricted accounts and the federal Pennsylvania Recreational Trails Program.
